Fathers' Club

Academic Awards – Coordinate and present academic awards to our Distinguished Honors Students and Military recognition. We take exception to how well our students have performed here at HSHS and then go on to excel at College and Graduate School. It all starts with support and recognition here at Spirit!

Back to School – Information and Sign up table at Back to School Night. We operate a table that explains what we do and the Freshman Scholarship process that we Award to incoming freshmen.

Field and Site – One of our past major objectives was to get assistance to help erect a scoreboard for the Softball, Soccer and Track teams. We were successful with the help of the Calvi Electric Company. This summer, we replaced the Cafeteria ceiling and lighting and in 2018, we replaced the entire 1st floor drop ceilings and lighting. We have also provided a new doorway to the trainer’s room and had the Boy’s locker room repainted. We rebuilt the Ticket Booth. We assisted in the major renovation of the Boy’s and Girl’s locker room refurbishment. This year we funded the repainting of the Football Stadium and painting of the parking lot and curbs. We are also in the planning stages of upgrading the School Library to include a “Spartan Digital Media Café”!!!! Anyone who could assist with our improvement objectives in any manner is welcomed to contact us.

Scholarships – The Fathers’ Club awarded over $30,000 in tuition assistance scholarships to deserving incoming freshmen and upperclassmen last year. This is just one way that we support those individuals that choose to attend Holy Spirit and continue their academic excellence! The applications can be picked up at the Guidance Office during Open House or from the Fathers’ Club. An essay is required as well as parental adult participation in one of our activities as part of the qualification criteria.

Athletic Awards – The Club has been providing the Award for the Athlete of the Year for close to 50 years. It is presented at the Senior Awards night. We have also created a tradition of giving out sweatshirts to those teams that have excelled by winning their Conference, Group, State or National Championship. The registration of the winning team for this award by the Club is the responsibility of the Coach of the individual sport.

Christmas Social – a seasonal tribute to the Club members. Enjoy some Member created specialties and some good company!

New Member Registration – Fathers’ Club table set up for sign up’s of any interested incoming Fathers or male members of the student’s family.

Golf Tournament – This annual outing is held in June with registration at 12 Noon and a “Shot Gun” start at 1 PM. This is our MAJOR FUNDRAISER that supports our SCHOLARSHIPS!!! Stay tuned for more info!
