Andrew Chavez is a proud member of the HSHS Class of 1986.
Mr. Chavez has recently retired after a stellar 26- year career as an enlisted member of the New Jersey State Police - retiring at the rank of Lieutenant. Mr. Chavez is currently working as a Compliance Officer at the NJ Office of Homeland Security & Preparedness, Hamilton, Mercer County, NJ.
Mr. Chavez is a graduate of Stockton University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science & Criminal Justice. He also earned his Master of Arts Degree In Political Science from Villanova University.
Additionally, Mr. Chavez is an Adjunct Professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University & Wilmington University - as an experienced instructor of Leadership and Criminal Justice courses.
He has been married to his lovely wife, Ann Marie Chavez, for 24 years. They have 2 sons, Andrew and Ryan, who each graduated from HSHS in 2019 and 2021 respectively. They are both presently attending St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia, PA.
