Cathryn Flammer

Mrs. Flammer brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the community. Raised in Michigan with her brother and five sisters, her parents instilled the importance of education in their children, making sacrifices to ensure they attended Catholic schools. She attended St. Michael's in Livonia and Divine Child Catholic High School in Dearborn before moving to Virginia to work as a Staff Assistant in the United States Senate while continuing her studies at George Mason University. She later completed her undergraduate degree at Madonna University.
 
After marrying John, she moved to New Jersey, where she has lived in Atlantic County since 2000. Her professional background includes significant roles in various local non-profit organizations, such as the New Jersey Department of Education Character Education Program, United Way of Atlantic County, and CASA Atlantic and Cape May Counties.
 
Before taking her job at Holy Spirit High School, she served as the Advancement Director at Assumption Regional Catholic School starting in August of 2011.  There she witnessed her children thrive in a Catholic education setting. Her son, Johnny, graduated from Holy Spirit is now attending Bucknell University, and her daughter, Mollyanne, a current Spartan part of the Class of 2028.
 
Mrs. Flammer believes strongly in the transformative power of Catholic education, particularly highlighted during the pandemic when schools remained committed to in-person learning. She values the resilience and dedication demonstrated by educators and staff, which has significantly benefited students academically and emotionally.
 
With a passion for community engagement, she aims to enhance Holy Spirit High School's reputation and impact. She encourages participation from parents and alumni in various initiatives, including committee involvement, fundraising, and alumni activities.
