Class of 2024 – It’s Your Time to Shine! We’re thrilled to announce a very special challenge just for the amazing Class of 2024 during Spartan Day of Giving! Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Taboga Family, a $5,000 donation has been made in support of our Senior Challenge! This gift is a meaningful tribute to Ella Taboga’s graduation and a celebration of the entire Class of 2024. Remembering Coach Byrnes Today, during Day of Giving, we honor and remember Coach Byrnes, a true Spartan through and through. A proud graduate of the first class at the new Holy Spirit High School, Coach Byrnes returned to teach and coach with unwavering dedication. His love for the school, the students, and the community was evident in everything he did. Coach Byrnes truly lived for the school, and his impact continues to be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will forever be a Holy Spirit Spartan! Here’s a sneak peek at the challenges: 🔸 Parker Family Challenge Gifts of $250 or more will be matched up to $5,000 in memory of Jack Parker. 🔸 Match $ for $ Challenge Donations to the HSHS Arts Program or Robert Reynolds PAC will be matched up to $10,000 by Tom Reynolds '84. 🔸 Donor Challenge 100 donors = $1,000 unlocked! Reach 250 donors = Additional $1,500 unlocked! (Thank you to our anonymous Class of 2002 donor!) 🔸 Alumni Challenge Which class will raise the most? The Phillips Family...What Catholic Education means to them! Our 9th child will soon graduate from Holy Spirit High School. As we look back on this journey through the last 26 years at both HSHS and St. Joseph Regional elementary school we are filled with gratitude. I am thankful that my husband are I were able to give our children the gift of a Catholic education. We truly believe that it is a gift. It was always very important to us that our children would learn about and speak about Jesus during their school days. We loved the fact that teachers could incorporate our belief in our Catholic faith during any class. Our children were blessed with teachers who cared about them and wanted the best for them in all aspects of their lives. We always felt part of a larger family which worked together in so many ways. Some of our children’s best friends are those they made during their time at Holy Spirit. My husband and I have also been fortunate to have become friends with many parents who share our values and our commitment to catholic education. Our children value their time at Holy Spirit and are all benefitting from the education they received during their high school years. I only see a bright future for the school as it continues to grow and prosper. I truly believe that Holy Spirit is the best school at which to grow into and learn to become fine men and women going out into the world.
