🎓✨ Where Are They Now? — Class of 2021 Spotlight ✨🎓 This month, we're celebrating the amazing journeys of our Class of 2021—and today, we’re proud to spotlight a hardworking and accomplished Spartan, Steven Petrosh! Steven recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kean University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. His academic excellence was recognized with inductions into both the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society and the National Political Science Honor Society—a true scholar-athlete! Throughout his college years, Steven played collegiate baseball, helping lead his team to an NJAC regular season championship, a Super Regional bid, and a spot in the Division III Baseball World Series! ⚾🏆 Currently, Steven is making an impact as a star employee at Petrosh’s Big Top, his family’s party rental company. This weekend, 17 outstanding students from high schools across Atlantic and Cape May Counties boarded the bus to American Legion Jersey Boys State (ALJBS) at Rider University! They’ll spend the week fully immersed in a hands-on civics and leadership experience, learning how government works from the inside out. The week concludes with a graduation ceremony on Friday, marking a major milestone in their leadership journey. A huge congratulations to HSHS's very own John Kane on being selected—what an incredible honor and opportunity ahead! Rider University has hosted ALJBS for over 50 years and now offers 3 college credits to delegates who enroll in a companion summer course. These affordable, transferable credits give students a head start in college while deepening the real-world lessons they’re already learning at Boys State. Aidan recently graduated from La Salle University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, with a double concentration in Media & Journalism and Interpersonal Communication. 🎓📺 During his time at La Salle, Aidan made his mark as the producer and host of La Salle TV's game show "Q&A" for three years, showcasing his creativity and leadership in front of and behind the camera. In addition, Aidan completed a 6-month internship at Walt Disney World as a Character Performer—an experience that proved to be life-changing and opened the door to his next big adventure. He has officially accepted a full-time position as a Character Performer at Disney! 🏰✨ "I am so honored and excited to return to Disney after completing my internship with them my junior year. Working down there truly was a dream come true. I cannot wait to continue my journey with the company and see what the future has in store."
