Brendan recently graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Science-Business and a minor in Compassionate Care in Medicine. 🩺📘☘️ He plans to attend medical school in the future and continue his journey toward a career in healthcare. In his own words: “The AP classes at Spirit helped me transition very well into classes at Notre Dame. The Holy Spirit education centered around faith also prepared me for the experiences I would have in the dorms and larger ND community in South Bend. I am grateful for the relationships I have made both at Holy Spirit and Notre Dame who I know I can always depend on. Go Irish!” Brendan, your academic excellence, strong faith, and dedication to compassionate service are a true reflection of Spartan values. 🎓✨ Where Are They Now? — Class of 2021 Spotlight ✨🎓 As we celebrate the incredible paths of our Class of 2021, today we’re proud to spotlight a standout scholar, athlete, and performer — Madison Ibone! Madison recently graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Biological Sciences and has her sights set on Physician Assistant School in Fall 2026, as she pursues her dream of becoming a PA. 🩺📚 In addition to her academic and athletic accomplishments, Madison also had the incredible honor of singing the National Anthem at both the Men’s and Women’s Final Four — a once-in-a-lifetime experience that reflects her talent, poise, and Spartan pride on the national stage. In her own words: “I am so grateful for Holy Spirit for helping me prepare for my college journey, not only with academics but with sports as well. FAU has been a life-changing experience for me, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I am so grateful for these four years and the opportunities this college has provided me with. Cheering on the sidelines and competing on the college nationals stage is something so surreal. I couldn’t have done it without God and my parents.” Madison, your dedication, spirit, and gratitude are the essence of what it means to be a Spartan. 🎓✨ Where Are They Now? — Class of 2021 Spotlight ✨🎓 This month, we're celebrating the amazing journeys of our Class of 2021—and today, we’re proud to spotlight a creative rising star Kevin Bell! After graduating from Holy Spirit, Kevin earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Production Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). 🎨🎭 At SCAD, Kevin brought stories to life by designing and building sets, props, puppets, and costumes for both school-wide and student productions—including a custom-designed superhero costume for a student film! Now, he’s taking his talents to the most magical place on Earth: Disney World! Kevin is currently completing his second six-month internship in the costume department at Disney in Orlando, FL, working on the highly anticipated Starlight Parade in the Magic Kingdom. ✨ We are beyond proud to see a Spartan shining behind the scenes, creating unforgettable experiences for audiences of all ages. 💙 Fathers’ Club Final Project of the Year! 💛 Well, it’s been a whirlwind of a year—and what a year it’s been for the Fathers’ Club of Holy Spirit High School! From a sold-out 50/50 fundraiser, to major upgrades like the guidance office renovation, the wrestling room improvements, countless small repairs, and now—a brand-new music room—this incredible group of volunteers has gone above and beyond to serve our school community. 🎶💪 At Holy Spirit, it has been said it takes a village—and we are so lucky to have the very best one. The Fathers’ Club not only brings unmatched skill, heart, and teamwork, but they also save our school thousands of dollars by taking on projects we would otherwise need to outsource. Using principles of force, kinetic and potential energy, and analyzing total energy in a closed system, these students are putting science into action—one loop at a time! 🍔🌭 Senior Cookout Fun! 🎓💙💛 Last night, our seniors kept the graduation week celebrations going with a good old-fashioned cookout right here at HSHS! Teachers and staff fired up the grill, serving up hot dogs, hamburgers, and lots of Spartan spirit. They wrote inspirational messages to each other in the yearbooks, and were mesmerized by magician Joe Festa and a fellow mentalist. They searched for their new school logos on a graduation cake that had all the colleges and schools our seniors will be attending this fall—such a sweet way to celebrate their next chapter! 🎂🎓 It was a fun and meaningful night for the Class of 2025 to relax, laugh, and enjoy time together—one of their last events as HSHS students before graduation. #ClassOf2025 #SeniorWeek #SpartanStrong #HSHS #SpartanPride #CountdownToGraduation #OneLastTimeTogether

This powerful moment between two of our own is a true testament to the strength of the Spartan bond and the call to serve something greater than oneself.
