Last Friday in Mrs. Ciseck's Advanced Psychology, students brought Behaviorism to life with a fun class experiment!
Volunteers bravely tried different foods (eyes closed!) while the rest of the class acted as behaviorists: observing reactions, recording data, and making educated guesses .
Students filled out analysis forms based only on what they observed:
✔️ What might the food be?
✔️ Did the person enjoy it?
✔️ Would they eat it themselves?
No inside knowledge—just pure behavioral analysis in action. A hands-on way to show how psychologists study outward behavior to make inferences, without relying on what’s going on inside the mind.
