Congratulations to three very talented Spartans who placed in the 11th Annual Ocean City Pops / Esther Weil Student Music Competition. Alex DeStefano '22 won 1st Place in Piano, Vanessa DeJean '22 won 1st Place in Vocals with Bridget Dougherty '22 winning 2nd Place. Bravo!

For three consecutive Teen Arts Festivals, a student from HSHS Milano Visual Arts has won a place in the prestigious New Jersey State Teen Arts Touring Visual Arts Exhibition

Congratulations to this year's winner, Gwen Amalfitano.
 
Gwen's artwork was one of four pieces selected from approximately 450 works entered in the 2022 Atlantic County Teen Arts Festival showcase exhibition. It is from the showcases that each county selects up to four pieces for this state-level award.
 
The Touring Visual Arts Exhibition showcases the artwork of 56 New Jersey high school students who received the highest accolades in the 2022 New Jersey State Teen Arts Festival. The award-winning pieces consist of a variety of artistic media such as painting, design and photography. The exhibition will travel the state through the year and conclude its run in May 2023.

2021 NJMTA Young Musician (Piano) Award Winner  - Alexander DeStefano '22

Congratulations to Holy Spirit Senior, Alex DeStefano, on winning the New Jersey Music Teachers Association's 2021 Young Musicians Competition for piano. Alex competed at the Collegiate level for the entire state and won! What an outstanding achievement! Enjoy Alex’s submission video below. He is truly a gifted pianist!
