Holy Spirit High School is approaching a momentous milestone…our 100th Anniversary! From our humble beginnings in Atlantic City in the fall of 1922 to the sprawling campus we call home in today in Absecon, NJ, Holy Spirit has been a pillar for Catholic Education in South Jersey for almost 100 years.

During our Centennial Celebration, we will be inducting Alumni(a) to the Holy Spirit Hall of Fame, which began in 2000 to honor the outstanding accomplishments of those who have contributed to the Holy Spirit Community and enriched the lives of all those involved. This group represents what it means to be a Spartan through character, integrity, honesty and faith. These individuals demonstrate a level of loyalty, dedication, generosity, leadership, and ambassadorship that have advanced the mission of our school throughout the years.

We are looking for help from our community to select the newest members of the Holy Spirit Hall of Fame, to be awarded at our Salute to the Spartans Gala which will take place in February of 2023. If you would like to make a nomination to be reviewed by the Selection Committee, please visit:

2018 Hall of Fame Inductees

Nine outstanding members of the Spartan Family were inducted into the 2018 Class of the Holy Spirit Hall of Fame during the Salute to the Spartans on February 23, 2018.

Selection was based on a number of criteria; first among them however, is character, integrity, honesty and faith. In addition, these individuals share an ongoing commitment to Academics & Education, Faith & Service to Others, the Arts, and Athletics.
