Spartan Giving Day is Fast Approaching! Thursday, April 10, 2025 Spartan Giving Day is about ALL of us - parents, alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends - coming together for 24 hours to support Holy Spirit High School! Every dollar raised goes directly to student programming and tuition assistance, helping us continue our mission of providing a transformative Catholic education. Here’s what you can look forward to: WEDNESDAY – Fuel Up! Rifici’s Restaurant, White Horse Pike, Absecon All day – 10% of your check (excluding alcohol) will be donated to HSHS Day of Giving! THURSDAY'S ALL DAY CHALLENGES! Parker Family Challenge Gifts of $250 or more will be matched up to $5,000 in memory of Jack Parker. Match $ for $ for gifts to HSHS Arts Program or Robert Reynolds PAC – up to $10,000 (Tom Reynolds ‘84) Donor Challenge 100 donors = $1,000 unlocked…reach 250 donors = Additional $1,500 unlocked (Thank you to our anonymous Class of 2002 donor!) Alumni Challenge Which class will raise the most? Board of Trustees Student Challenge If 150 students give $5+, the Board donates $20 per student, Kona Ice comes to campus, Coach Russo does a push-up for each student donor, and Mr. McGhee wears a wig for a day! BONUS: If 200 students give—everyone gets a dress-down day thanks to an anonymous donor! $10,000 Challenge - $2,500 unlocked for every 50 donors! Exciting News for Two Holy Spirit High School Juniors! We are thrilled to share that two Holy Spirit High School Juniors, Skyler Hand and Addie Marchelle, who are part of the AtlantiCare Medical Explorers have been awarded an incredible opportunity! They were selected to participate in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Conference at Stockton University—a dynamic and interactive leadership conference designed to help young leaders develop essential skills like teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. This 4-day program brings together motivated students from across the region for hands-on workshops, team-building activities, and inspiring guest speakers. It’s an amazing opportunity to connect with future leaders, step out of your comfort zone, and gain valuable skills that will benefit them in school, scouting, and beyond.
